There are LOTS of wine schools, exclusive locations that engage in wine tastings, even speciality classes you can take for the price of ONLY one arm and one leg. The classes we offer are intended for: the individuals who simply enjoy learning about wine in a functional way (the word FUN is inside of that term for a reason), for the person who is in the food industry & just needs to know more AND for the at-home parent who needs an enjoyable [and educational] outlet. These classes, are for YOU!

Just like you have goals to achieve in the classes, I also have aspirations for you. These are 3 things i want you to leave with after you have taken our wine classes:

1) restaurant newspaper. i want you walk into any restaurant, be seated by the host, sit at your table, eagerly accept the wine menu & peruse it like your local paper. you KNOW what's going on in this section & are somewhat familiar with that one. i want you to have a keener understanding of wines & be able to enhance your dining experience just by seeing the region, vintage & knowing the grapes.

2) grocery store dinner. you decide on dinner at home & all that's missing is the right bottle of vino. you will learn how to walk into a grocery store, go to the wine section & select a bottle (or 3) that will be the perfect seasoning to a home-cooked dinner or thai take out just by examining contents on the bottle! you will have an understanding of the flavor profile in a wine you've never had or even seen before!

3) social gatherings & cocktail hour. my goal is for you to leave the classes with a confidence that makes you excited when the topic of wine comes up, not apprehensive. when someone discusses a delicious rose they had for the holiday, you can chime in with your last experience and be the dominator of the conversation...making you sound like a PROUD WINEAUX indeed!
